When something needs warranty attention you are dealing with MHIAA directly, not a generic appliance support line. Real cold-weather performance. The ducted and split range is rated to operate from around minus 20 degrees ambient through to above 50 degrees. Melbourne winters do not get anywhere near the bottom of that range, which means the system is never operating at the edge of its envelope on a cold morning.

Avanti Series (wall split, single-room)

The mainstay of the residential wall split range. Reverse cycle, inverter, R32. Available in sizes from 2.5kW up to around 9.0kW, covering anything from a single bedroom to a large open-plan living area. WiFi-ready models available.

Bronte Series (wall split, larger capacity)

The bigger wall split. Sizes go up to 10.0kW on a single head, which suits very large open-plan areas, knock-through renovations, or rooms with a lot of glass that hit the limits of an Avanti.

For whole-of-home conditioning from a single outdoor unit, with vents in each room and the indoor unit hidden in the roof space. Reverse cycle, R32. The MHI ducted range carries the same 5-year parts and labour warranty as the splits.

Free in-home quote and load calculation. We come to the home, look at the room or rooms, and size the system to the space rather than to the cheapest unit that will fit.

Quote and options in plain language. We walk you through the Avanti, Bronte, ducted, or multi-head options that suit the home and the budget, and answer the questions you have before any paperwork.

Install day. Indoor unit, outdoor unit, pipework, electrical connection, test, and commission. Most single-head splits done in a day. Ducted and multi-head systems run longer depending on scope.

Walkthrough. We show you the controller, the app setup where the model supports it, and how to use the system properly so it does what you paid for.

Warranty and paperwork. Compliance certificate handed over, MHIAA manufacturer warranty paperwork explained, and the file goes with you.

Rebates

Where the job qualifies for a Victorian Energy Upgrades rebate, we will let you know up front and walk you through the path. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reverse cycle systems are commonly eligible on gas-to-electric conversions and select reverse cycle replacements. Across the residential SR and DX series (Avanti, Bronte, residential ducted), MHIAA covers parts, labour, and the compressor for five years from the date of purchase, provided the unit is installed by a licensed installer and used in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines. Warranty service is run by MHIAA directly, not by a third-party handler.

Savage Air lifetime workmanship guarantee. If anything we did with our hands ever fails, we fix it. That cover does not expire.
Every install is signed off under our ARC refrigeration licence AU52122.

Is this the same as Mitsubishi Electric?

No. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Electric are two separate companies with different parts, different controllers, and different warranty agents. The two ranges are not cross-compatible. We install Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Which MHI series should I pick for a standard bedroom?

A 2.5kW Avanti covers a single bedroom up to around 25 square metres on a standard back-to-back install.

Avanti or Bronte for a large open-plan living area?

Avanti covers most living areas up to around 7.0–9.0kW. For very large open-plan, high ceilings, or a lot of glass, Bronte’s 10.0kW option gives you the extra capacity.

How long does the install take?

Most single-head Avanti or Bronte splits are done in a day. Ducted and multi-head systems take longer depending on the home and the scope.
