Breezair brings four things that matter when you are choosing an evaporative cooler.

Australian designed, built, and tested. Breezair is engineered and manufactured by Seeley International in Australia, with cooling capacity tested to Australian Standard AS2913-2000 in their NATA-accredited laboratory. The cabinet, the Chillcel pads, and the electronics are all built for Australian heat, not adapted from a system designed somewhere else.

Permatuf cabinet that does not corrode. The Breezair cabinet is moulded from UV-stabilised structural polymer, not painted metal. That means no rust, no corrosion, and no thin-skin damage from years of sun and rain on a Melbourne roof. The Permatuf cabinet carries a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty, and the structural components carry 10 years.

Breezair Icon EXQ Series (inverter, flagship)

The variable-speed flagship. Two main residential sizes, EXQ170 (around 11.6kW cooling capacity, 7,450 cubic metres per hour airflow) and EXQ210 (around 14.5kW, 9,140 cubic metres per hour). Hushpower Direct Drive Invertacool motor for quieter operation and lower power draw at low fan speeds. Permatuf cabinet, Chillcel pad technology, Tornado water pump, and the MagIQtouch controller as an option.

Breezair Supercool EXS Series

The fixed-speed residential range. Multiple sizes across the EXS line-up to suit different home sizes. Same Permatuf cabinet, Chillcel pads, and Tornado water pump as the Icon range, with a fixed-speed motor rather than the inverter. The right call when the budget is tighter and the home does not need the variable-speed quietness of the Icon.

Controllers and water management

Both ranges work with the MagIQtouch touch-screen controller, which gives you fan speed control, temperature targets, night-quiet mode, and a clean and drain function that empties the tank when the unit is not in use, so you do not get algae build-up. The WaterManager system monitors water quality and only drains when it needs to, which keeps water use down across the season.

How The Install Works

Free in-home quote and load calculation. We come to the home, look at the roof, check duct paths, and size the cooler to the home’s airflow needs rather than the smallest unit that will fit.

Quote and options in plain language. We walk you through Icon EXQ vs Supercool EXS for your home and answer the questions you have before any paperwork.

Install day. Rooftop unit, ducting through the roof space, ceiling outlets, water connection, electrical connection, controller, test, and commission. Most standalone Breezair installs are done in a day.

Walkthrough. We show you the controller, walk you through fan speed control, night-quiet mode, and the clean and drain function, so the unit does what you paid for.

Warranty and paperwork. Compliance certificate handed over, Seeley manufacturer warranty paperwork explained, and the file goes with you.

Rebates

Where the job qualifies for a Victorian Energy Upgrades rebate, we will let you know up front and walk you through the path. Pure evaporative replacements are generally not the strongest rebate path (the bigger rebates sit on gas-to-reverse-cycle conversions), but on the right job we can lodge a claim through our third-party rebate partner, so the paperwork is not on you.

Warranty service is run by Seeley directly, not by a third-party handler.

Can I run Breezair with the doors closed?

You can install a security relief vent that releases cooled air into the roof space, which lets you run the cooler with doors and windows closed while you are out.
